Product Information

BMRB Brake Orbital Hydraulic Motor: Product Overview

The BMRB brake orbital hydraulic motor is a BMR shaft-distribution motor with an integrated spring-applied, hydraulically released brake. It comes in seven dimensioned displacements between 100 and 400 cc/rev, with 300 Nm brake torque and brake release starting at 21 bar.

It is used in industrial and mobile machinery drives that need a spring-applied brake. Holding and operating duty are confirmed for each machine before quotation.

Olive Branch Hydraulics manufactures hydraulic motors and pumps in Hebei, China. We supply EXW Hebei.

Common Names by Market

  • English: BMR motor with brake, brake orbital motor, BM2 brake motor
  • Spanish: motor hidráulico con freno, motor orbital con freno
  • French: moteur hydraulique orbital avec frein
  • Russian: героторный гидромотор с тормозом

Key Features of the BMR Motor with Brake

  • Brake integrated on the BMR shaft-distribution motor: motor and brake form one unit on a Ø100 mm body and mount with an F1 or F2 flange.
  • Spring-applied wet friction discs: springs clamp oil-immersed friction discs and give 300 Nm brake torque with no pilot pressure applied.
  • Hydraulic release: release begins at 21 bar and is complete at 33 bar. Confirm available release pressure, drain back pressure and the complete brake circuit against the approved drawing.
  • Low release volume: the brake piston takes 4.5 ml of oil per release.
  • Separate K and T ports: the brake control port (K) and the drain port (T) are labelled separately. The catalogue shows G1/4 as the control port, and the confirmed drawing sets the final port assignment.
  • Catalogue limits: maximum working pressure is 200 bar and maximum continuous flow is 68 L/min. These are separate limits, not a combined continuous duty point.
  • Installation length: H is 249 mm on BMRB100 and 303 mm on BMRB400, measured from the mounting face to the rear.

Technical Specifications and BMRB100–BMRB400 Dimensions

All data comes from our printed 2026 catalogue, pages 28-29. H is measured from the mounting face to the rear of the motor, not to the shaft tip.

Ordering Checklist

  1. Displacement: 100, 125, 160, 200, 250, 315 or 400 cc/rev. 370 is available on enquiry.
  2. Flange (F1 or F2) and shaft (A1–A5), checked against your mating pilot and coupling.
  3. Port option (P1–P5), and how K (brake control) and T (drain) connect in your circuit.
  4. Available pilot pressure at K. The catalogue lists 33 bar for full release; confirm the actual circuit.
  5. Brake duty: static holding or dynamic braking, plus load, gear ratio and required holding torque.
  6. Working pressure, flow and shaft speed at your duty point.
  7. Order quantity, annual volume, packaging (neutral or white-label) and destination market.

Why Choose Olive Branch Hydraulics

We manufacture in Hebei and supply EXW Hebei. Configuration and commercial terms are confirmed in writing in each quotation.

  • Distributors and wholesale buyers: quantity-tiered pricing, MOQ and stock position are stated per displacement and port option in the quotation.
  • OEM and ODM projects: requested flange, shaft and port combinations are checked against the catalogue chart and confirmed drawing. Non-catalogue configurations are reviewed against your drawing.
  • Private label: white-label marking and custom packaging are quoted options. Label content, barcode and carton specification are agreed before production.
  • Replacement buyers: we check your full nameplate and original part code against the BMRB drawing. Interchange is never assumed.
  • Project and end users: holding duty, pilot circuit and installed length H are reviewed with your engineer before the order is placed.
  • Trial orders: sample quantity, cost and timing are stated in the quotation.

BMRB Brake Motor FAQ

Is BMRB a direct replacement for BMR-BK01, BM2 brake or OMR brake motors?

Not automatically. BMR-BK01, BMRBK01, BM2 brake, B-MR and OMR brake are related product terms, not guaranteed exact interchanges. Send the full nameplate and original part code, and we will check flange, shaft, ports and length against the BMRB drawing.

Is 300 Nm brake torque enough to hold my machine?

It depends on your load, gear ratio and duty. 300 Nm is the catalogue brake torque, and holding-duty suitability requires the load and service factor. Dynamic braking must not be approved solely from this brake-torque figure.

What pilot pressure releases the brake?

Release starts at 21 bar and is complete at 33 bar. Each release takes 4.5 ml of oil.

Can the motor run continuously at 200 bar and 68 L/min?

The catalogue does not establish that combined continuous duty point. 200 bar is the maximum working pressure and 68 L/min is the maximum continuous flow; torque and speed for your displacement are confirmed per quotation.

Is BMRB370 available?

BMRB370 is listed for configuration enquiry. The catalogue publishes no H or H1 for BMRB370, so fit is confirmed on a drawing issued with the quotation.

What are the trade terms, MOQ and lead time?

We supply EXW Hebei, China. MOQ, quantity tiers, lead time and packaging are confirmed in the written quotation for your configuration.

Request a BMRB Quotation

Send the displacement, flange, shaft and port codes, the quantity and your destination market, or simply a photo of the full nameplate. We will return an EXW Hebei quotation together with the confirmed BMRB drawing for that configuration.

Original OMR F Brake-Motor Reference Codes

Danfoss 2016 technical information page 45 identifies these OMR F G1 brake-motor codes. They are original-part identifiers for a replacement enquiry, not Olive Branch Hydraulics SKUs or confirmed BMRB interchanges. The source configuration uses a 25 mm cylindrical shaft, G1/2 side ports and G1/4 drain.

Original OMR F nominal size Original reference code
100 151-6462
125 151-6463
160 151-6464
200 151-6465
250 151-6466
315 151-6467
375 151-6468

The original Danfoss brake is rated differently from the 300 Nm BMRB brake. Match the complete configuration, installed dimensions, control circuit, drain, shaft load and holding duty. OMR F 375 does not establish BMRB370 or BMRB400 equivalence; no BMRB400 original numeric code is inferred from this table. Plain BMR or OMR codes without a brake designation do not identify the brake assembly.

Photo and Drawing Scope

The unwatermarked BMR-BK01 photograph from Hymon Hydraulics is an independent series structure reference showing a keyed shaft, two-bolt flange, S-type ports and integrated rear brake. It does not prove the exact supplied displacement or configuration. Our 2026 catalogue pages 28–29 provide the BMRB brake dimensions and ordering options; the upper BMRH chart on page 29 belongs to a separate H-port motor series.
