For preliminary sizing, theoretical speed in rpm equals flow in L/min multiplied by 1000 and divided by displacement in cc/rev. Theoretical torque in Nm is pressure drop in bar multiplied by displacement in cc/rev and divided by 62.8. Actual speed depends on volumetric efficiency and actual torque on mechanical efficiency. These calculations do not replace the published ratings, performance chart or engineering review.

The catalogue lists a high-pressure shaft seal with up to 175 bar case pressure without an external drain, and up to 200 bar peak return-line pressure when using an external drain. These are separate circuit conditions, not general continuous operating permissions. Confirm the seal configuration, return spikes, case pressure and drain routing for the selected motor before commissioning.

Flush the circuit, confirm oil cleanliness and viscosity requirements, and connect any required drain line before starting. Run first at low pressure and low speed, check rotation viewed from the shaft end, bleed air according to the approved circuit procedure and increase load gradually.
