Product Information

OZ and OK Orbital Hydraulic Motors

Olive Branch Hydraulics manufactures OZ and OK shaft-distribution orbital hydraulic motors in Hebei, China. Both series have nominal catalogue codes 50, 63, 80, 100, 125, 160, 200, 250, 305 and 400 cc/rev.

The two-hole diamond flange has an 82.55 mm nominal pilot, with 25 mm keyed, 25.4 mm keyed, SAE 6B rectangular spline and DIN 5482 involute spline shaft options. OZ and OK require separate interface checks because their flange thickness, port spacing, body diameter and length differ.

Conveyor drives, auger drives and compact machinery are application enquiries for engineering review. Machine-specific fit requires the original motor number, machine brand and model, dimensions and operating duty.

Flange code F1 F2
Flange thickness 8 mm 6.2 mm
Mounting holes 2 x Ø13.5 mm 2 x Ø13.5 mm
Mounting hole centres 106.4 mm 106.4 mm
Flange overall height 130 mm 130 mm

A/B port centre spacing 45.72 mm 44 mm
Mounting face to A-port centre 41.6 mm 35.7 mm
Port-face dimension marked 55 55 mm 55 mm
Body diameter Ø92 mm Ø102 mm

Use the toleranced drawing for the selected build to confirm pilot fit, flange seating and fasteners. A matching nominal displacement does not establish matching mounting geometry.

OZ and OK Model Names and Installation Lengths

H is measured from the flange mounting face to the rear and excludes shaft projection. H1 follows the same nominal-code sequence for both series; all lengths below are in millimetres.

The catalogue prints 305. Enquiries labelled OZ 300, OZ 315, OK 300 or OK 315 require a comparison of displacement, drawings and duty; these labels do not establish equivalence to our 305 code.

Shaft Options: 25 mm Keyed and Spline Ends

Code Shaft Key or spline designation
A1 Ø25 mm keyed Parallel key A8 x 7 x 32
A2 Ø25.4 mm (1 inch) keyed Parallel key A6.35 x 6.35 x 32
A3 Rectangular spline, SAE 6B 6D25.32 x 21.47 x 6.25
A4 Involute spline DIN 5482 B25x22h9; 14Z x 1.6M x 30P x 9h

The four shaft drawings show a maximum projection of 55.3 mm and an axial M8 tapped hole. The separate 43 mm dimension is not the full mounting-face-to-tip projection.

Main Ports, Drain and Manifold Fasteners

Port code Main A/B ports Drain T E mounting thread
P1 M22x1.5 M14x1.5 M8
P2 G1/2 G1/4 M8
P3 7/8-14 O-ring 7/16-20 UNF 5/16-18 UNC
P4 1/2-14 NPTF 7/16-20 UNF 5/16-18 UNC
P5 ZG1/2 ZG1/4 M8

E mounting holes have a minimum tapped depth of 13 mm. OZ has four E holes and OK has two; compare the complete manifold face as well as the port threads.

P5 retains the catalogue designation ZG. Confirm the specified thread form and sealing arrangement on the drawing before selecting fittings; do not treat ZG as G/BSPP.

Rotation and Finish Codes

  • R: viewed facing the output shaft, A inlet and B outlet give clockwise rotation.
  • L: reverse rotation for the same A-in/B-out condition.
  • N: unpainted; Q: blue; B: black; S: silver.

Equipment and Original Motor Matching

  1. Identify the existing motor by its original part number, complete nameplate and photographs.
  2. Provide the machine brand, model, drive function and installation drawing or measured interface.
  3. Check shaft profile, coupling engagement, flange pilot, bolt spacing, ports and clearance.
  4. Provide radial and axial shaft loads, required torque, speed, flow, pressure and duty cycle.
  5. Confirm circuit backpressure, case-drain routing, oil temperature and seal requirements.

The OZ/OK catalogue pages P47-P48 provide installation and ordering data rather than operating pressure, torque, speed or flow ratings. The proposed configuration and operating limits must be confirmed for the application.

No machine-specific OEM number or direct-interchange reference is established by these drawings. An original motor number is an identification input, not a confirmed Olive Branch part number.

International enquiries may use motor hidráulico orbital OZ/OK (Spanish), moteur hydraulique orbital OZ/OK (French) or орбитальный гидромотор OZ/OK (Russian). The series, size and interface codes remain necessary in every language.

See the separate BMH shaft-distribution orbital motor for its own ratings and interface drawings.

Ordering from Olive Branch Hydraulics

Confirm series, nominal size, flange, shaft, port package, rotation and paint on the order drawing. A short series name alone is insufficient to assign a complete motor configuration.

  • Distributors and wholesalers: quantity and configuration mix form the basis of the EXW Hebei quotation.
  • OEM/ODM projects: submit the interface drawing or sample details for configuration review and any agreed sample approval.
  • Private-label buyers: labels and packaging are agreed in the order documents.
  • Maintenance and engineering teams: compare the approved drawing with the existing mounting, coupling and hydraulic circuit.

Sample terms, order quantities and lead time are quoted for the confirmed build. Repeat orders should retain the approved drawing and revision.

The two product photographs show an OZ-series keyed-shaft, two-hole-flange structure as a series reference. They do not establish every displacement or the distinct OK interface; the two technical images reproduce the Olive Branch catalogue drawings.

FAQ

What is the difference between OZ and OK orbital motors?

OZ has 45.72 mm A/B port spacing, an 8 mm flange and a Ø92 mm body. OK has 44 mm spacing, a 6.2 mm flange and a Ø102 mm body; compare the length table as well.

Is OZ 305 or OK 305 equivalent to a 315 motor?

Equivalence requires confirmation. Our catalogue prints 305, so a motor labelled 300 or 315 needs its own displacement, interface and duty check.

Which code has a 25 mm keyed shaft?

A1 is Ø25 mm with key A8x7x32. A2 is the separate Ø25.4 mm, one-inch keyed option.

Are SAE 6B and DIN 5482 shafts interchangeable?

Check the coupling drawing. A3 is a rectangular SAE 6B spline, while A4 is an involute DIN 5482 B25x22h9 shaft with a different profile.

Can this replace the motor on my conveyor or auger?

Fit is confirmed only after interface and duty checks. Provide the machine model, original motor number, measured dimensions, coupling details and hydraulic data.

What operating pressure and torque apply?

The two catalogue pages specify interfaces rather than operating ratings. The limits for the selected configuration require confirmation against pressure, flow, speed, torque, duty and drain conditions.

Can I order samples or private-label packaging?

Both are agreed per configuration. Sample cost, quantity, packaging and lead time are included in the quotation and order documents.
