Product Information

BMR Series Orbital Hydraulic Motor 50-400 cc/rev: Spool Valve Geroller LSHT Motor

Product Overview

The BMR orbital hydraulic motor comes in eleven displacements from 50 to 400 cc/rev. It is a spool valve, roller-gerotor (geroller) LSHT motor rated at 92-429 Nm continuous torque, with continuous pressure drop of up to 138 bar.

Olive Branch Hydraulics manufactures the BMR in Hebei, China, for industrial and mobile hydraulic drives, and supplies it EXW Hebei. All ratings come from our 2026 catalogue (pages 20 and 23-25) and apply to the standard BMR. BMRH, BMRW and BMRB variants are listed separately.

Buyers often search for this motor class as BM2 or by OMR reference codes. Interchange with a specific BM2 or OMR part is checked against our drawing. It is never assumed from the name.

Also searched as: motor hidráulico orbital BMR (ES), moteur hydraulique orbital BMR (FR), орбитальный гидромотор BMR (RU).

Key Features

  • Spool valve distribution: the output shaft carries the rotary valve. This gives a compact layout for medium-duty drives up to 138 bar continuous.
  • Roller-gerotor set: rollers seated in the stator replace sliding lobe contact, which cuts friction at start-up and at low speed.
  • Short frame: length H runs from 140 mm (BMR50) to 203 mm (BMR400). Moving up in displacement adds at most 63 mm of axial length.
  • Four flanges: square 4-bolt or diamond 2-bolt, each with an Ø80 or Ø82.55 mm pilot.
  • Catalogue shaft options: metric keyed, metric spline, inch keyed and SAE 6B spline. Additional shaft dimensions appear in the catalogue drawings; availability requires confirmation.
  • Six port codes with case drain: BSP, SAE O-ring, NPTF and metric threads, available in straight and S-type port layouts.

BMR Orbital Hydraulic Motor Technical Specifications

Size the motor on the continuous ratings. Intermittent values are allowed for no more than 10% of every minute, and maximum speed, pressure and torque must not occur at the same time.

Selection Points

  • Torque versus pressure: continuous Δp steps down from 138 bar (BMR50-BMR125) to 124, 103 and then 90 bar. For larger sizes, compare the individual table rows: continuous torque is 417 Nm at BMR320, 402 Nm at BMR370 and 429 Nm at BMR400.
  • Speed: continuous speed at 53 L/min falls from 778 rpm (BMR63) to 133 rpm (BMR400).
  • Oil and temperature: use anti-wear hydraulic oil at ISO 4406 20/18/13 cleanliness, with a recommended maximum system temperature of 82 °C.
  • Back pressure and shaft seal: the permissible limit depends on speed, seal type and drain connection. We confirm it for each configuration, and no unrestricted back-pressure rating applies.

Mounting Flanges and Shafts

  • F1 / F2: square 4-bolt, 70 × 70 mm, pilot Ø80 / Ø82.55 mm.
  • F3 / F4: diamond 2-bolt, 106.4 mm bolt spacing, pilot Ø80 / Ø82.55 mm.
  • A1: Ø25 mm, key 8 × 7 × 32. A2: Ø25 × 21 × 6 spline. A3: Ø20 mm, key 6 × 6 × 32.
  • A4: SAE 6B spline. A5 / A6: Ø25.4 mm, key 6.35 × 6.35 × 32. Other shafts are made to drawing.

  • OEM / ODM projects: non-catalogue shafts and configurations are quoted against your drawing and duty point.
  • Private label: white-label marking and custom packaging are quoted per order.
  • Project buyers and end users: inspection and test requirements are written into the quotation before production.

FAQ

Where are BMR motors manufactured?

We are a manufacturer. Olive Branch Hydraulics produces hydraulic motors and pumps in Hebei, China, and ships EXW Hebei.

Is the BMR a drop-in replacement for an OMR or BM2 motor?

Not automatically. Send the OMR or BM2 part number or drawing, and we check flange, shaft, ports and ratings against our BMR drawing.

Can the motor run at maximum pressure and maximum speed together?

No. Peak values must not coincide, and intermittent ratings are limited to 10% of each minute.

Is a case drain required?

That depends on back pressure, speed and seal type. We confirm the drain arrangement for each configuration.

Is BMR63 available in every flange, shaft and port combination?

Not by default. Combinations for BMR63 are confirmed on the quotation drawing.

How are price, MOQ and samples handled?

All three are quoted per configuration and quantity. Distributors receive tiered pricing by quantity.

  2. Back pressure, drain arrangement, and radial and axial shaft loads.
  3. Flange, shaft, port code, rotation and finish.
  4. Oil type, maximum temperature, quantity, branding or packaging requirements, and destination.

OMR Original Part Numbers for Replacement Enquiries

Reference identification only; these Danfoss codes are not Olive Branch Hydraulics SKUs or an interchange guarantee. Danfoss 2016 technical information, page 42, lists A1 and A2 configurations below. Both use a 25 mm cylindrical shaft, G1/2 side ports and an 82.5 mm pilot, two-hole oval flange. A1 has no drain connection; A2 has a G1/4 drain and different seal/check-valve provisions. These external A1/A2 designations are distinct from our shaft codes.

Photo and Drawing Scope

Unwatermarked photographs are independent BMR series references, not evidence of the supplied displacement. The straight/S-port installation, shaft and ordering drawings are reproduced from our 2026 catalogue pages 23–25. H is the mounting-face-to-rear dimension; confirm shaft projection separately. BMRH, BMRW and BMRB use separate catalogue sections.
