BMPW Wheel Mount Hydraulic Motor Overview

The BMPW wheel motor is a recessed flange gerotor motor for wheel-drive installations. Olive Branch Hydraulics manufactures it in Hebei, China, and supplies it EXW in 11 nominal sizes from 50 to 500 cc/rev with F8/F9 wheel-mount options and a 92 mm body diameter.

Typical projects are wheel-drive assessments on agricultural, forestry and construction equipment. We confirm fitment to a specific machine only after we have your drawing and duty point.

Model aliases quoted: BMPW100, BMPW-100 and BMPW 100. The same naming applies to every size, for example BMPW 250 and BMPW 320.

The table lists the catalogue H and H1 dimensions for the selected F8/F9 wheel-mount family. Confirm the exact flange, shaft and port combination against the mating hub drawing.

H is the catalogue dimension behind the mounting face, not the overall motor length. Use the full outline drawing for envelope checks.

Ports and Rotation

• Main ports A/B: G1/2, 7/8-14 O-ring or M22×1.5.
• Drain port: G1/4, 7/16-20 UNF or M14×1.5.
• Port and drain combinations are confirmed per order.
• Viewed from the shaft end, flow in at A and out at B gives clockwise rotation. Reversing the flow gives counterclockwise rotation.

Recessed Flange Gerotor Motor Features

The flange, threads and shafts are what determine whether a BMPW fits a hub.

• Wheel recessed flange F8/F9: the hub locates on an 80 mm pilot, and the 92 mm body sits inside the hub recess.
• Two thread standards: four M10 or 3/8-16 UNC threads on a 103 mm bolt circle. Specify which one when you order.
• Four shaft ends: metric key, inch key, SAE 6B spline or 1:10 taper. Match the selected shaft to the hub drawing.
• Three port families: BSPP, SAE O-ring and metric threads. Select the thread family against the mating fittings.
• Separate drain port: available in G1/4, 7/16-20 UNF and M14×1.5 to suit how your circuit is piped.
• Product photos: the images show keyed and tapered shaft reference variants. They do not show a specific supplied displacement.

Model Names and Original Part-Number Enquiries

Common names include BMPW wheel motor, wheel-mount hydraulic motor, recessed-flange orbital motor and spool-valve gerotor motor. International enquiries may use motor hidráulico de rueda BMPW, moteur hydraulique de roue BMPW or колесный гидромотор BMPW.

OMPW and OMPW N Original Reference Codes

The following original Danfoss codes are listed in its March 2016 technical manual, document 520L0262 / BC00000084en-US0401, pages 11-12. They identify an existing motor for replacement assessment; they are not Olive Branch stock codes or confirmed direct replacements.

The original D1 group specifies a 25 mm cylindrical shaft; the original F2 group specifies a 28.5 mm tapered shaft and needle-bearing version. Their labels belong to the original manufacturer, separate from our F8/F9 flanges and A14-A17 shafts. Compare mounting dimensions, shaft, ports, drain, seal, pressure, torque, speed and wheel loads before approval. Original OMPW 315 is not automatically BMPW-320, and no original code is assigned here to BMPW-63 or BMPW-500 without a verified comparison.

Is BMPW 100 interchangeable with OMPW 100 (151-7103)?

We make no direct interchangeability claim. You can use OMPW 100 151-7103 and OMPW N 100 151-5303, as listed in the Danfoss 2016 catalogue, as inquiry references, and we quote BMPW against your drawing.

Does BMPW 320 replace OMPW 315?

Not automatically. Displacement, length and interface must be compared on the drawing first.

Is H the total motor length?

No. H is measured behind the mounting face, and overall length comes from the full outline drawing.

Which port and drain threads can be combined?

Three main-port and three drain-thread options are listed. The exact combination is confirmed at quotation.

What tightening torque applies to the taper shaft nut?

100±10 Nm for the DIN 937 slotted nut. This value applies only to the A17 taper shaft drawing.

Can you confirm the motor fits my machine?

Only after we review your drawing and duty point. We do not state machine-specific fitment or safety ratings without that review.
