Choose the correct displacement

NSH6M-3 / НШ6М-3: nominal displacement 6 cm³ per revolution.

NSH10M-3 / НШ10М-3: nominal displacement 10 cm³ per revolution.

NSH14M-3 / НШ14М-3: nominal displacement 14 cm³ per revolution.

NSH16M-3 / НШ16М-3: nominal displacement 16 cm³ per revolution.

Displacement is not the same as delivered flow in litres per minute. Actual flow depends on shaft speed and operating conditions. Changing displacement without checking the circuit may change steering or implement response and drive power requirements.

Check the shaft, flange and oil ports

Provide a clear shaft-end photograph, shaft diameter and spline or key details. Measure the mounting-hole pattern, locating diameter and shaft projection. Include both oil-port faces so their position, connection type and dimensions can be checked. Pumps with similar housings can have different interfaces.

Specify clockwise or counterclockwise rotation viewed from the drive-shaft end. Include the complete suffix on the existing nameplate. A shortened search name such as NSH10 or НШ10 is useful for an enquiry but does not establish an exact mounting configuration.

Applications and configuration review

Enquiries may concern agricultural tractors, forestry machinery, construction equipment or municipal vehicles in Russian and CIS markets. Steering and auxiliary hydraulic duties must be checked against the machine circuit. An MTZ or Belarus machine name alone is insufficient to confirm fit: provide the exact machine model, build details and existing pump number.

The product photographs show representative small-displacement NSH M-series construction from different views. They do not identify all four displacement variants individually. Request the photograph and installation drawing of the configuration being quoted before approving an order.

OEM, distributor and sample enquiries

Send the model, quantity, rotation, application and any special shaft or port requirements. Private-label packaging and OEM/ODM work can be discussed against the agreed specification. Sample availability, production schedule, packaging, freight and commercial terms are confirmed in the quotation.

Model names, Russian markings and rotation references

Use the following spellings when identifying your existing pump. NSh and NSH are Latin renderings of Cyrillic НШ. Spaces, hyphens and letter case may vary in an enquiry; keep the complete model suffix when ordering. Short names alone do not specify a mounting arrangement.

Rotation: in this НШ marking convention, the Cyrillic suffix Л means left-hand / counterclockwise rotation viewed from the drive-shaft end. It is commonly written L in Latin text. Right-hand / clockwise rotation normally has no Л suffix. Russian enquiry terms are правое вращение and левое вращение. Confirm the arrow and inlet/outlet positions on the actual pump.

GP references for configuration comparison

These catalogue references identify related pumps of the same nominal displacement. They are provided to help review a customer's existing pump number. They are not Olive Branch part numbers or an approval of direct interchangeability.

GP numbers may also be written with spaces, for example GP 2BM 10R-A101A. R and L in these GP references distinguish rotation. Match the entire code, shaft, flange, ports and operating requirements before confirming a quotation.

Keep shaft and version suffixes

A four-spline shaft, six-spline shaft and keyed shaft are different configurations. In the referenced НШ ordering system, shaft codes A and C identify four-spline and keyed versions respectively; they must not be discarded as spelling differences. Pressure-version codes -3 and -4 and seal or climate suffixes also require separate review. Provide the full nameplate and installation drawing; no universal machine-specific OEM number is assigned by this family page.

Frequently asked questions

Are NSH and НШ the same search designation?

NSH is the Latin transliteration commonly used for the Cyrillic НШ designation. Common enquiry forms include NSH6M-3, NSH 6M-3, NSH10M-3, NSH 10M-3, NSH14M-3 and NSH16M-3. Always retain the full suffix for technical confirmation.

Can one model replace any pump with the same displacement?

No. Displacement, rotation, shaft, mounting flange, port layout and circuit requirements must all match the approved specification.

Can I choose a pump using only a photograph?

A photograph helps identify the construction. The nameplate and measured interfaces are needed to check the exact variant. Send additional photos if a marking is unreadable.

What pressure and speed should I use?

Request the data sheet for the configuration being quoted. Continuous, intermittent and peak pressure limits are different; do not use a family maximum as the rating of every pump.

Can you supply installation drawings?

Request the drawing corresponding to your exact shaft, flange, port and rotation configuration for approval. Do not assume a drawing for another displacement has the same overall length.
